Robert Jones

I am formally trained and experienced in the fields of electrical & computer engineering, computer science, data engineering & science, and ML engineering. I approach all of my work from sound, often advanced theories, that are applied with rigorous engineering practices. I have special expertise in, and am most passionate about artificial intelligence, data-driven and adaptive algorithms, and machine learning. I leverage my strengths in mathematics, statistics, and the theory and application of stochastic process models, and stochastic optimization to solve problems in AI/ML and data science. I have enjoyed applied R&D applications for some of the most challenging projects in the aerospace, defense, energy, and fintech industries. I am adept at using GPUs for deep learning and using software libraries and frameworks to make good use of CUDA-capable GPUs for faster training of neural networks and high-performance computing needs. I mostly leverage PyTorch, TensorFlow with Keras, and MXNet. I am most expert in the languages of Python, R, Julia, C, C++, C#, and Scala.
